Top 10 Best SNES Games - Super Nintendo RPGs rule the board!
70Best Super Nintendo Games
The top 10 Snes Games. If you are a huge fan of Super Nintendo, which it is hard not to be. Then it is about time you check out the top 10 games for Super Nintendo. I would have to say that Super Nintendo was easily my favorite system of all time, even better than these new ones that have came out. The only thing these games now-a-days have over SNES is online play. In my opinion the only reason to even play the new systems. Nintendo proved long and hard that the best graphics and stunning pictures do not make the best games. Things looking great only take you so far, that is why the games themselves have to be good.
There is a wide variety of games below, be sure to find the one that interests you the most. Also check for plenty more reviews on Amazon, by clicking through. Check out 100 super nintendo games below

#10 Super Mario RPG
One of my favorite RPG's all time. A very easy game to like, for all ages. It is a Mario game, so there is no doubt it is good. I've never played a game with Mario in it that wasn't good! If you haven't played this game, you better it really is fun. You go around and kill the monsters, but when you kill them you get rewards and make your guy better! It really is fun and rewarding to play this game. It is my top recommendation for SNES if you haven't played it.
This game can be played by all ages, although it is a little harder to play then most games. Still very fun and can still be very easy. This actually should probably be higher on the list. Super Mario RPG is one of my favorite games all time, and one of the top Mario games of all time, and that is saying a lot. I have never played a bad Mario game.

#9 Street Fighter II
If you are having trouble deciding which character to use on Street Fighter, then look no further. This game only has 8 characters to choose from! That is right 8! The bosses that you have to fight afterwards are also a real blast to fight. I am not 100% sure and maybe I'm mixing my Street Fighters up, but I think there is a way to play as the bosses as well, including M. Bison. This was easily my favorite Street Fighter ever made, although a couple of the later ones certainly did make a good showing.
It has really advanced in to something spectacular, so many moves and so many more characters. Sagat, Vega, all very fun fights. Another game that any age can play, but let it be known that this is a fighting game, so if you are against your kids playing violent games.. well.

#8 Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past
Now here is another game that everyone should play. It is an adventure game, but I can remember me and my brothers playing it all of the time when we were little. There were Zelda games before this that were smash hits and games after that were also smash hits. To me this is a balance between all of those games, in fact I do think I liked this one the most out of all of them. Hands down. This game you get to play the whole time, there is a little thinking and a lot of cool things to do. Be sure to get and play this one, that is for certain.
This is an absolute must play game. I actually enjoyed this Zelda game more than any of the new ones to come out. It was fun, and had some puzzles, but it was blast to solve them. So many cool things that you get to do on a relatively small map. Absolutely play this Zelda game if you have not.

#7 Super Mario Kart
This game was the start of something special, and to me once again SNES has the best game for it. No other Mario Kart really compares to this one, this was the first installment and the others were great. But to me, you can not beat the original. This game is a lot harder than the newer ones, for instance go ahead and try Rainbow Road! They really dolled up the newer Mario Karts, not that there is a problem with that, however mastering and winning this particular game was a lot harder. Maybe it was because I was younger ;)
I just recently played my little cousins in the Wii version of this game. It was embarrassing, I told them to come and try me on the real game, the original one. I was 24 and all 3 of them were between 6 and 11. I lost to them all! I take pride in winning too, it was demoralizing, luckily I think that they think that I let them win.

#6 Super Mario World
It really is hard to pick and choose the best Mario game. It really is! Like I said earlier, I have never played a bad Mario game, including Mario Tennis or Mario Golf. Who would think of those games being fun? But good thing they are, and it is obvious Mario always has quality games and there is no exception here. All of the earlier Mario games like this were amazing and they were all different in their own ways. It seems like they took the best attributes from all of the previous games and molded it in to this masterpiece.
I actually am debating why this is in front of Super Mario RPG, but I think it is because so many more people like this game. Which it is easy to, it is easier to play and is loads of fun, with all of the cool bonus stages full of coins. I remember having a blast.

#5 Mega Man X
If you have not played Mega Man from NES or SNES you are really missing out. Mega Man X is one of my two favorite Mega Man games, and for good reason. The game is really cool. It is once again a different approach to a Mario. Where you shoot people rather than jump on them. The cool part is when you kill a boss you learn another gun, some of the bosses are impossible with the gun you start off with, and you can try to kill any boss at any time, however using the right gun helps out tremendously. Enough of my trying to explain it, this is certainly one that you need to play!
Playing Megaman sure is a treat in all of his games, but for some reason I really had a blast with this game. Megaman was awesome on NES, but I felt that they really upgraded with this game, definitely my favorite Megaman. I remember my brother got Megaman 64, it was nothing like the original megamans, so I haven't played it since.

#4 Super Punch Out
Honestly I don't think I enjoyed any game more than this one. I mastered it back in the day. Not only do you get to go through a bunch of different, unique opponents. But you can choose to fight them as much as you want! I worked hard on mastering all of the opponents, and had some of the lowest scores out there I can guarantee it! If you want a game that your kid could play, and you could enjoy to, then get this one! This honestly could very well by my favorite game on the Super Nintendo.
It is hard to choose if this Super Punch Out or regular punch out is better. All I can tell you is, I guarantee I will play them both again and enjoy them thoroughly. This is another game anyone can play, because you can choose what fighter you want to go up against. Some are very easy, others take skill and practice,

#3 Donkey Kong Country
These are nearly the same game, however they are not as Diddy is the main guy in the second one. These games are so fun for any age and should not be passed up. If you haven't tried Donkey Kong or Diddy Kongs quest you better get on the right now! Any game that tries to be like it just does not compare. Even Adam Sandler gave Donkey Kong a shout out! The best way to describe it is that is is kind of like a Mario type game, but quite different and equally is good. This game does get challenging that is for sure!
This was the first game that took Mario's concept and made it their own. While also making it a blast to play. Being able to switch in to a bee, and several other animals is a blast. I'm not sure if the marlin or what is in this one, I get them all mixed up! Either way it is the best Donkey Kong, although the other ones are pretty much continuations of this one and still are a blast.

#2 Final Fantasy 3
Considered by many to be the best Final Fantasy ever made. If it isn't the best it is at the top on nearly everyone's list. If you loves Final Fantasy 7, this one certainly compared to it when it came out. The characters are cool and what you get to do is really awesome. You will have plenty of new favorite characters and some of their specials are just awesome. The hardest part is choosing which guys you want to go in to battle with. If you haven't played this Final Fantasy, you are certainly missing out.
It is an older game, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try. I personally would play these older Final Fantasy before I'd pick up some of the newer ones. This made Final Fantasy in to what it is today. It had some of the coolest ways to learn magic, and really had the first characters that everyone talked about. The story was also very cool and I felt you didn't need to read much to know where to go next.

#1 Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs ever made, and in many people's eyes it certainly is the best to date. This is one of the few games I never have a problem with pulling out after years of not playing, and it still is extremely fun! If you like Final Fantasy or something a little different, this is certainly the game you should check out. You explore new times and get new characters to fight with.
Another one of those games that are just pure fun to play. You really get to build your characters up with different combos by using different characters. There is some cool stuff to do aside from the actual story. You start off in a festival where you get to play some games for gold and exp, or you can skip it!
Chrono Trigger and all of the games above I would recommend for you to play. If you never got to play SNES you really are missing out.
The Best SNES Games
Top Snes games - the best of the rest.
Here are several other great games, I'll give a quick run-down. Kirby is another one of those games that everyone just loves. Zombies Ate My Neighbors is certainly a must, especially if you have kids. Very fun game for everyone! Final Fantasy 2 is a game that I probably have played more than ff3, and if you love Final Fantasy, then there is no question you should get it as well.
Secret of Mana is a game kind of like Chrono Trigger, but instead you can have 2-3 players if you choose! Very fun game for me and my two brothers. Killer Instinct is another one of those Street Fighter type games, but to me it may be better.
Don't forget to check out the Ninja Turtles game.
Another top 10 list
All of these games can be played on a SNES Emulator.

Nice hub :D I liked your list, and even though I love RPGs, I had to vote for Megaman X on your poll. That game was to me a landmark of tight controls, balanced gameplay and excellent music.
