South Park Top 10 Best & Funniest Characters. Who is your Favorite?

When I was a teen and South Park came out, I fell in love with it. It was one of the funniest shows to come out in the distant past and certainly the only one that I still running. Comedy Central's crown jewel is South Park. The characters have all evolved and changed over the years, along with their voices. They may have small changes, but the characters are all there and still very funny. Trey Parker and Matt Stone created the likes of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny all the way to Kip Drordy and they still deliver the laughs. With many more seasons to come(hopefully)

Here is a list of the top 10 funniest South Park characters. The best South park has to offer. I am starting with #1, because it is pretty obvious who the two most popular characters are. I just happen to go with Cartman because he is one of the 4 main characters.

South Park is a cartoon that airs on Comedy Central on Wednesdays at 10pmET.

After seeing every episode, many of them dozens of times, it is easy to make a list. The hard part was actually not adding a lot of the other characters since there are so many hilarious ones. If I were to make a list in a couple of weeks my list may change. One thing does remain true. South Park is truly one of the funniest shows to ever hit tv.

Eric Cartman

This whiny brat can also devise plans to overtake the world! He is the most foul mouthed of all the kids and always causes lots of trouble. He is all talk and always in the middle of all the hot button issues that plague us today. He screams and gets what he wants. Not to mention he discriminates against everyone and everything, especially Jews and Hippies.

Eric Cartman is by far the most known character in South Park. My grandparents may not know who Stan, Butters, or Mr Garrison is, but there is no doubt they know Cartman. At least as the little fat kid, which is the exact name he gets called in South Park. Cartman lives off of ruining people's days and lives. There is nothing that makes him more happy then making his friend Kyle's life a problem. Making fun of people is Cartman's past time.

The amount of toys and shirts this little monster has sold is unbelievable. There are tons and tons of cool things you can get that feature Cartman. Check out some of those Ebay auctions if you want to get a present for a South Park fan. Everyone loves to hate Cartman.

Butters

Butters is probably the most lovable character on South Park. Always getting grounded by his parents for taking the heat from his friends, its hard not to like the kid. A nervous good kid usually gets picked on by Cartman.

He has even an his very own episode! Entitled Butters' Very Own Episode.

The reason I love Butters is because he is a true naive kid. His parents are typical strict parents. They treat him like a dog and tell him to go play, When he goes outside he sings little songs like "loo loo loo, I got some apples, loo loo loo you got some too." You really have to see it get the full laugh.

Butters Stotch is the most popular character if you take out the original 4 boys. If you want a lovable completely funny character, then this is your guy. He always gets himself into some very sticky situations and obviously has little clue to what he is really doing.

Randy Marsh

This character many people do not realize how funny he is. He is always in the middle of everything screwing it up. He is pretty much the stereotypical uneducated father. Much like Homer and Peter Griffin, when they get involved in something, they get involved in it hard. Randy Marsh has the funniest personality out of all of the characters on South Park. In most key moments he always has something funny to say. Leave it to him to be the one causing all the trouble.

I personally have had Randy Marsh as my #1 favorite South Park character in the past, especially after seeing Grey Dawn. He really had me on the floor on that episode along with a couple of others.

Lately Randy Marsh has really gained popularity, many people can't get enough of him! The picture is of him trying to play the popular game Rock Band, which his kids are masters at. He can't seem to get it down, and when he pulls out his real guitar, his kids think it is lame. Make sure you check out the video clip below, I laugh just looking at pictures of this goof.

Jimmy Vulmer

J-J-J Jimmy Vulmer is absolutely hilarious!This stand-up comedian has his problems, but being handicapped isn't one of him. He is a writer and comedian with all the jokes and stutters that come along with it. Winner of the talent show, he is sure to make you laugh. Another one of the characters people are drawn to.

He even made a joke about Fish Sticks that is the funniest joke ever.

Jimmy Vulmer does a great job of representing the handicapped. Loved by all of the other characters in South Park, he holds his own and his independent. Don't think he doesn't play Lord of the Rings or fight when he needs to. If Butters isn't the most loveable and liked character on South Park, Jimmy is. Many people are asking for him to be in more and more episodes, so expect to see him a lot even in newer episodes. The South Park guys always show their handicapped fans love.

Mr Garrison

The kid's teacher of most of their years is really teaching the kids everything they need to know. Is he gay? Is he a boy or girl? Is he straight? No one knows, not even him. This character is the craziest and quite possibly gay, most ungay character there is. Whether he has Mr Hat or Mr twig he'll still make you laugh, or maybe if they don't their replacement Mr. Slave will. Mr Garrison is sick and twisted, but extremely funny in the process.

Some of the most sick and twisted things you will ever see have to do with Mr Garrison. Be careful when you watch this guy he says some sick and perverted stuff! There are too many things that I really can not describe that Garrison has done. Just watch the video to get an idea. You get to meet Mr Hat.

Stan Marsh

Stan Marsh is the average semi-popular boy in school. An all American kid, smart, almost sometimes too smart. He ends up teaching lessons to his parents all of the time. He always seems to find trouble with the rest of his buddies and is always ready to do something about it. He brings a very smart funny and thinks years ahead of his time. He usually learns something valuable every episode and shares it with the audience.

He never really makes me laugh out funny, but he makes you laugh in ways that you can only understand if you watch the show. Many people really seem to connect with Stan.

Probably the most mature, or seems to be the most mature kid of the bunch. He was the star QB in the episode Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride. One of the funniest episodes I have ever seen, unquestionably a top 5.

Terrance & Phillip

These Canadians know how to do one thing and that is fart! Tasteless to some, hilarious to others, there was nothing funnier on South Park when I was a little kid. Toilet humor still delivers laughs and these guys are no exception. They were featured in South Park the Movie and also had a couple of episodes based around them. These are the kids favorite TV stars!

FAAARTT! lol. I'll tell you what, my dad thought it was hilarious. Although he laugh much harder at me and my brother watching it. Nothing funnier farts to young boys!

Towelie

This talking towel was made to keep people dry. His line is "don't forget to bring a towel."But along the way it picked up a couple bad habits, one of them being a pot-head. Towelie is always asking,"You wanna get high?" And usually shows up when the boys are in need of drying. He has a couple of episodes based around him, and needless to say they are hilarious!

He is not in many episodes,so you really have to get lucky to see him.

His episode is actually called Towelie season 5 episode 8. So be sure to check it out and lugh your bum off.

Mr Mackey

South Park's one and only counselor has a lot on his plate. Making sure the kids act appropriate and he even has his own slogan against drugs. "Drugs are bad. MMM K." Being at a school with a lot of misbehaving kids keeps Mr Mackey busy. He is being featured more and more, because there is no doubt that he looks funny and the things he does is just hilarious. He even got his own episode where he didn't take his own advice and got on drugs, what a good episode that was.

Mr Hankey

South Park's crown jewel Mr Hankey is a splash when he is on South Park. "HOOOWDY HO!" Is one of Mr Hankey the Christmas Poo's favorite sayings. He is much more than a talking piece of poo, he delivers Christmas presents to kids who get enough fiber in their diets!

He is not a huge part of South Park, but it is funny how many people actually know or at least recognize this legendary piece of poo. Since Christmas is only once a year, you have a small chance of catching a new episode with him, but don't hold your breath. We are hoping for more Hankey, and there will be, but there certainly isn't enough!

Mr Hankey has some of the coolest and funnest collectibles of all the South Park characters. Check out Ebay and find some of the best deals you are goign to get on some of the funniest toys and T-shirts out there. I think I saw a Mr Hankey Bobble head, man it is hilarious.

South Park has some of the most outrageous songs you have ever heard, extremely offensive to some and extremely funny to everyone else. It is clear South Park will poke fun of not only themselves, but everyone that is breathing is a target. There are not many shows that have been able to stay funny and clever.

Not many shows have stood the test of time and have been around as long as South Park. I am excited that South Park will be around at least until season 15. They might call it quits after then, so make sure you tune in for the final seasons. Supposedly after the last episode they will make a final movie.
