I suggested getting the kindle for adults in my first post. There are a lot of great books out there, and for me to pick a bunch of books that all people will like is nearly impossible. Luckily I have a feeling I found at least one that all dads should like. Unbroken has nearly 2000 reviews and a 5 star rating. That is unheard of really. There are other items with a 5 star score, but not to many have 2000 reviews. This is a highly recommended book. Having my whole family being or have been in construction(me included). I have found out a bunch of helpful tips when it comes to tools. For instant Compact cordless drills are awesome. And the Makita LCT300W is no exception, my Dad has this drill and it blows almost all of the other cordless drills I've tried. It is so powerful, and you can fit it in to a lot more little spaces. Having it being a smaller is key, it makes it easier to use and less taxing on the muscles. I really recommend this drill if your Dad is a Mr. Fixer. It is more expensive because it is top of the line. top tool for xmas for dad.

I wasn't going to check the Amazon rating, but just as I thought, a 4.5 star rating and almost 200 reviews. Get this drill.

Sawzall is just one of those tools that can be used for everything. If you need a pole chopped down, pipe cut, trees trimmed back. Anything that you could imagine this thing tears in half. Having put this to extreme tests I have found that it had never broken on me. I used it in the toughest conditions you are going to get, Commercial Demo. $100 is a fantastic deal for a Sawzall and they are what people were rescued with on 9-11, that were saved from under the rubble.

Wired or not Wired is the only question. Wire gives you tremendous, endless power, as to where the battery powered Sawzall will stall if it is on something a little rougher. The Battery powered one isn't bad for home use, as I'm sure Dad won't be using it like hes on a job every day. Which if he was no doubt you get one with a wire.

I am pretty sure if you get both Makitas picture the batteries will work for each other's tools.

In case you didn't know Men take their flashlights very seriously. There is nothing better than having your own flashlight stored in your spot, with no one else to use it. Knowing full well the batteries are charged and that he can pull it out whenever he needs it is very important. Kids end up taking them for flashlight tag and end up draining the batteries or breaking them. With the Fenix E21 you are not only getting one of the best flashlights, but you are also getting great durability if your kids do steal it. The Nebo is said to put out a ton of light, probably the most for the price.

Well it is winter and dad is going to need something to do when the sun comes back out and the plants start growing. Here are of great couple of choices, plus there are all the items you can think of on Amazon. The Fiskars Garden bucket is a great idea, it does two things: makes things very easy to carry around, and great for storage and keeping your gardening stuff together. The Felco F-2 are some top of the light Hand pruners and a great choice. Very Durable and will last a long time, check and see if your pruners need an upgrade. These may be more like an overhaul.

Does dad love to golf? If he golfs a bad game does he come home angry? This may end up helping his score a few strokes and hopefully will make him come home an even happier man. There are a variety of rangefinders, sadly the cheaper ones don't work near as well and end up picking up a tree rather than the flag, messing up the distance and making golfers choose the wrong club. I personally haven't seen anyone have problems with this masterpiece. Also if he is constantly golfing and leaves his attire in the car, you may want to get him the organizer. Very nice amount of space, works great and can be extremely worth it. Right now I'm picturing my Uncle digging through is trunk to grab each shoe, so I'm being serious as saying it could be a help. The GPS is cool, if you don't know the course this can be extremely helpful. I've shot at the wrong green a bunch of times.

Now I have got to bring headphones up. Right now I am wearing my Bose quiet comfort headphones. I have been using them for several years and they are so great. They don't break and work, no matter what. If you have had trouble sitting on a plane not being able to hear the movie you are watching, or music.. Well this not only cancels out the sound around you, but it puts out more than enough sound to where you would be able to hear anyone. Not to mention it is about the clearest sound you will get. These particular Headphones are not the ones I have, but it is making me jealous because they look cooler, and certainly are better. Not complaining though, get those headphones for your Dad, he'll have them for life. Well worth it.

Sick of your dad complaining about his back hurting? Get him a massage cushion. There are a lot of choices and some of them work fantastic. Have to be careful though when picking them out. Some may work great, but break easily, while others just don't do much for you. This particular cushion uses heat as well, and it has a 4 star rating. This is not a bad choice, there are several other much cheaper alternatives. If your dad loves massages this is a great choice.

There are several things you can get to improve your dad's driving experience. This could be giving him something like a tire gauge, which doesn't make the car rides funner, but it does make it safer, which is always a good thing. Another thing you can get is a power converter, this way your dad can plug in anything he needs that needs a power cord. This is a great idea especially if you are in his car all the time. You can plug in your laptop, or whatever else you want to do to keep yourself occupied! There are several other power converters so be sure to check them all out and compare. Some can do a lot more, I just chose inexpensive.

Get your lovely dad a lovely Multi-tool, or as we call them pocket knives. Obviously they have a lot more than just knives. I've bought a pair from Cabelas for $5 needless to say none of the knives were sharp and it was weak and flimsy. That is why I highly recommend spending extra if you are going to get him a multi-tool. Quality goes a long way in these things. If any of the pieces get bent, or anything it could become useless very quick. Leatherman is a great, durable choice, there are other great choices too, so contrast and compare reviews if you'd like.

There are a bunch of nice coats to choose from, and giving him one to go out in is always a plus. I nice coat can make your dad look really good when he goes out and possibly even give him more confidence. With all the different brands and choices I can't really tell you what to get, but if you haven't heard of Steve Madden, it is another great choice for durable, good looking gear. Once again another great choice for dad. If he likes to smell good and puts on cologne, he may not even realize there are other great scents out there. Eternity by CK has been a very popular cologne for a very long time. There are hundreds of other great choices and some of them get very expensive. Luckily you don't need to pay a lot to get some great smelling cologne.

If your dad loves to be in charge of things, give him a universal remote. These things can do so much and can be extremely helpful The Logitech Harmony has a color touch screen and is one of the top universal remotes that is available. Research more on what a universal remote does and see which one fits you best. Spending a lot for one may not be worth it if you won't use the features. Either way I'd at least look at something you will be using the in the future for sure.

If your dad is a drinker or has a bar, you can upgrade it with a couple of little items. For instance you could get him as simple as a cocktail shaker, this is great especially if he loves to make drinks. Also check out the very cool Global Decor Drink Dispenser. A very cool addition to the bar, not only does it hold on to the bottles for you, it pours the drink as well! Great choice if you ask me. There are plenty of other things you can buy from Amazon just click one of the items and you will see plenty of other things you can get for the bar. Stoppers, bottle openers, shot glasses, you name it.

Does dad love to barbeque? If so her may need some BBQ gear. There are plenty of great ideas for your outdoor grilling needs. I'd get him some sweet stuff to assure some good bbq when winter is over. MR bar-b-q Grill set has every little piece of grilling equipment you could need, inexpensive, which is why I like it. It is a nice little set with some great pieces. If you want some of the best equipment, you may want to give the Wber Style 6445 a try. All of the pieces work very well and have great reviews, so you can't go wrong. I'd get the Weber before I'd get Mr BBQ, but they are both very nice to have.
